JANUARY:
“But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.”
— Isaiah 40:31
Remember: God is with you. When you put your strength in His name, in His promise you will be freed and unbound. No matter where you go or what you face, He is with you every step of the way.
FEBRUARY:
“Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.”
— Joshua 1:9
Remember: When you trust in your Father and lean on His protection and love, He promises to never let you go to battle alone. Regardless of the terrible circumstances of this life, He loves you. He isn’t going anywhere.
MARCH:
“Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.”
— John 14:27
Remember: God is not the world. There are things that will tempt you, things that will shake your faith, things that will look beautiful and shiny, but will ultimately fall short. In all moments of your life—good and bad—know that your Father’s love is eternal. And He has prepared a place for you beyond all failures and imperfection of this world.
APRIL:
“I keep my eyes always on the Lord. With him at my right hand, I will not be shaken.”
— Psalm 16:8
Remember: When you focus your attention on your Father you will find encouragement. You will find strength. You will find that you are never, ever alone. And nothing can ever control or shake your foundation.
MAY:
“You are my refuge and my shield; I have put my hope in your word.”
— Psalm 119:114
Remember: Seeking God means seeking refuge, a safe place, a home. You will forever be His child. He will forever love you. And in faith, He will protect you.
JUNE:
“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”
— Jeremiah 29:11
Remember: God has a plan. Though life sometimes seems crazy and spinning out of your control, ultimately, He has a purpose for you. Though you may feel like you’re walking through life without a clue, God knows every little thing about you. And there is a reason for who you are and where you are right now.
JULY:
“I can do all this through him who gives me strength.”
— Philippians 4:13
Remember: In God, you are limitless. There is nothing in this world that can restrict you or hold you back. God’s love is infinite, and in His word you will find strength, encouragement, healing, and a second chance at life.
AUGUST:
“So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.”
— Isaiah 41:10
Remember: With God, you don’t need to be afraid. Even if terrible things have happened to you, even if you feel alone, even if you’ve gone through hell and back, remember that with Christ you will be strengthened. You will rise again.
SEPTEMBER:
“For the Spirit God gave us does not make us timid, but gives us power, love and self-discipline.”
— 2 Timothy 1:7
Remember: God’s love is not to make you feel weak; it is meant to empower you, even on your most tiresome days. Trusting in God means allowing Him to raise you back to your feet when you fall, to give you hope when you have none. He is an almighty God; don’t forget that.
OCTOBER:
“Be on your guard; stand firm in the faith; be courageous; be strong.”
— 1 Corinthians 16:13
Remember: The things of this world will continually challenge your faith. Do not let that shake you and what you believe. Know that God is ruler of all things and His love is far greater than anything you face. Be strong. You are HIS.
NOVEMBER:
“Take delight in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart.”
— Psalm 37:4
Remember: A heart that delights for the Lord is a heart that will find happiness, love, and peace. When you put God first, you learn how beautiful the world truly is. You learn that this impermanent existence isn’t all there is. You learn that the plans your Father has for you are far greater than you could have ever imagined.
DECEMBER:
“The Lord is my shepherd, I lack nothing.”
— Psalm 23:1
Remember: As a person of faith, in Christ, you are not lacking. You are gaining, growing, building, and blessed.
