Stay Single Because It’s Better Than Falling For A Cheater

It’s better to stay single than to enter a relationship where you are second best.

It’s better to throw away his heart than share it with someone else.

You are not supposed to compete for attention in a relationship. You are not supposed to convince someone to make you a top priority. If you have to talk someone into loving you, then they are not the right person for you.

It’s better to stay single than enter a relationship where you are always looking over your shoulder, checking up on your person. You should not have to scroll through their texts to see if they deserve your trust. You should not have to question them about why they’ve been coming home late from work and why they’ve been answering messages in the middle of the night. You should not have to feel like you are on guard inside your own relationship.

You are supposed to feel comforted by your person. You are supposed to feel like they have your best interest at heart. You shouldn’t feel like you are fighting for their love. You shouldn’t feel like you are an afterthought.

It’s better to practice self-love than to engage in one-sided love.

It’s better to spend some time on your own than to get into a toxic relationship with someone who will never appreciate you.

You deserve someone who is one-hundred percent sure about you, not someone who bounces back and forth between wanting to date and wanting to stay single.

You deserve someone who is excited about committing to you, not someone who is unafraid of leaving their bachelor days behind.

You deserve someone who is willing to fight for your relationship, not someone who checks dating apps just in case the relationship goes downhill.

If you want the kind of happiness you deserve, then hold out for someone who considers you their number one priority. Someone you trust with your heart. Someone who would never dream of hurting you.

Your person should never make you question your self-worth. They should never make you wonder whether you are attractive enough, fun enough, good enough. Your person should make you feel like the most beautiful person in the room. They should boost your confidence. They should make you feel special.

Even though you might be sick of the single life, you are going to be much happier single than you would be fighting for his heart. There is a certain peace that comes with being alone — but there is no peace when dating a cheater. There is only heartache. There is only insecurity. There is only hatred.

Someone who struggles to stay loyal is going to make you feel like something is wrong with you, like you cannot do anything right, like you do not deserve affection — but the right relationship is going to make you feel valued. The right relationship is going to make you feel loved.

The right person is not going to hurt you the way he has.
