This Is What Every Woman Wants To Say To Every Man Who Makes Her Feel Uncomfortable

Let’s face it — India is divided into two parts, the modern and the traditional, the old and the new and every now and then these two worlds collide and we see fireworks. It’s not about perception but more to do with the difference of opinions, to say the least.

As a woman, we have all been in situations where men have made you feel uncomfortable simply by looking. Some men do it out of habit and some do it even without knowing. But in either case, the woman feels naked under the scrutinizing gaze.

And in situations like these, all you want to do is to simply give the guy in question a piece of your mind. In case you have ever wanted to do this, then you will be more than able to relate to this video. A short film that is focused on speaking up and standing up for yourself, it may raise a couple of eyebrows and ruffle feathers but it puts the message across in the best way possible.

Sexual harassment is an evil that needs to go, be it at the workplace or anywhere else. From the roadside Romeo to a lecherous neighbour, it’s not a comfortable feeling to be stared at.

And the sad thing is it doesn’t matter what you wear — be it a salwar suit or a t-shirt, some people will always stare at you.

This video aims at venting out what the mind is thinking rather than keeping mum about it. We see a rather visibly frustrated girl who is tired of her boss and his roving eye And strangely enough, you would have also met a guy like her boss. The seemly “happily” married lot who has the most vile of intentions and being married just gave him an excuse to legitimize his shoddy behaviour.

This short film A Lin Productions initiative in collaboration with Bombay Diaries conceptualised by Anupama Ahluwalia of Lin Productions makes you wonder about what happens when you’ve had enough? Is it okay to speak up about an issue like this or not? Will people at work start seeing you in a different light cause of this? But what happens when you finally snap and decide to say enough is enough? You don’t need someone to fight your battles — you are your own hero.

And what the girl says in this video is exactly what every woman would want to say to her creepy colleague/neighbour/roadside romeo. And mind you, she does not mince her words at any stage of the video so be prepared to witness the rant of a lifetime.
