Some guys are just soooo busy — that’s why they don’t have the time to text back within a decent amount of time. Obviously, we just don’t understand what it’s like to have so much on our plates, right? BS. If you can’t give me the courtesy of a text back, I’m not waiting around for you.
1. IF YOU CAN’T MAKE TIME FOR ME, WHY SHOULD I WASTE MINE ON YOU?
We’re all busy here, but that’s not an excuse. The real problem here is that you’re not making me a priority. I have a life, but I’m making time for you. If I’m dedicating even a minute to you, then you’d better be willing to do the same.
2. IT TAKES LESS THAN A MINUTE.
All that BS about men being too busy to text a girl back is just that — BS. You can take a 10 second break from whatever you’re doing to text me the hell back. I’m not asking for some long sappy love letter of a text message, just a few words to let me know you got it. How on earth can that be asking too much?
3. I HAVE BETTER THINGS TO DO.
Just like you’re too busy with your life to text me back, I’m too busy with mine to worry about you. If you can’t find the time to text me, then I’ll find a guy who can. I’m not going to waste my time begging for your attention. I’m better than that.
4. I DON’T PLAY GAMES.
Maybe you have rules about how long you should wait to text me back, but I don’t. Frankly, the fact that you care so much about these so-called rules is pretty pathetic. I’m just being me here. I don’t abide by any “rules” and I certainly don’t want to play your little games, so if that’s what you’re interested in, I suggest you find someone who doesn’t mind your BS.
5. I’M SERIOUS ABOUT FINDING “THE ONE.
”I’m looking for love, so if you’re just looking for a good time, then I’m so better off without you. I may not have met “The One” yet, but I know he’d at least have the decency to text me back. Guys who are serious actually want to reply. If you can’t find a few seconds to send me a little text message, you’ve made your intentions pretty clear.
6. I WANT A GUY WHO’S WILLING TO MAKE AN EFFORT.
I’m not going to be the one doing all the work here. Relationships are a partnership, and both parties need to put in the time and effort. If we want this to work, then we have to work together. If you’re not willing to share the load then I guess this is goodbye and good riddance.
7. YOU’RE NOT IN CONTROL.
I get this little game — you make me think that I’m losing you so that I hold onto whatever we have even tighter. You want to “wear the pants” in the relationship, but that sentiment is so outdated. You’re not in control, and it’s you who should be worrying about losing me.
8. I HAVE SELF-RESPECT.
That’s why I’m not going to let you walk all over me and treat me like crap. You like to play off a woman’s insecurities, but you picked the wrong girl. I’m confident in who I am, and I know that I’m a catch. If you’re too dumb to see that, then don’t text back — ever.
