Your Anxiety Would Never Drive Your Soulmate Away

You have to understand that your anxiety would only ever really drive someone away if you weren’t meant to be with one another. A person who just isn’t meant to be with you would never be able to tolerate your constant need for affirmation and validation. A person who isn’t meant to be with you just wouldn’t be able to put up with your neediness and your seemingly senseless insecurities. You are the type of person who is constantly looking for reassurance from the person you’re in love with; but you know that the people who only hold temporary spots in your life are those who wouldn’t want to put up with you.

You might be making a person feel uncomfortable with how many times you ask about how they feel about you – and that person isn’t the one you’re destined to spend the rest of your life with. These are the people who get frustrated when they deal with you because they see you as a problem and a burden. They don’t feel like they’re getting a good deal by signing up to be in a relationship with you. They feel cheated and shortchanged. And it’s because of how terribly you make them feel that you end up becoming more and more anxious about your place in the relationship. It’s as if you’re stuck in some kind of sick and sadistic loop that you can’t seem to get out of. It’s a vicious cycle of your anxiety creating a lot of unnecessary tension in your relationship;

and the tension in your relationship fuels your anxiety even further. It’s unfortunate that you seem to be stuck in a hole that you can’t climb out of. And you’re scared to really open up about how you feel because you know that you’re just going to end up driving this person away. But this is what you really need to know. The person you’re meant to spend the rest of your life with – your soulmate – is never going to run away no matter how anxious you might be. The person who is wrong for you is never going to be able to understand what’s going on inside your mind and inside your heart.

The wrong person is never going to be able to grasp the concept of you struggling with this kind of sickness. The wrong person is never going to be able to love you the way that you need to be loved because they are never going to get who you really are. They aren’t going to be able to appreciate or accept the parts of you that they don’t like. They aren’t really going to be able to love you as a whole; as a total package. They will only pick and choose the spots in which they will love you – and that’s not a real kind of love. So in truth, the wrong person could never really love you at all. And if they say they do, it’s all a lie. Because true love stays even when things aren’t always so pretty.

True love stays especially when times get extremely difficult. True love stays even when it’s inconvenient. Your soulmate is always going to see you in the light that you deserve to be seen in. Your soulmate is going to look at you as a whole and love all parts of you; even the parts that are difficult to love. Your soulmate is going to have a fresh perspective of your anxiety. They are never going to make you feel like you have to be ashamed of who you are. They are always going to encourage you to be your own person; even if that means having to acknowledge the imperfect parts of your character.

Your soulmate is always going to be supportive. They are someone who you are always going to be able to lean on when times get rough. This is a person you are always going to be able to count on to show up even when it’s tough to do so. This is someone who is always going to try to prop you up when you need some extra support. This is a person who is going to help push you to where you need to be. At the end of the day, you know that your soulmate is someone who is never going to leave you.

You could be the most anxious person in the world; your soulmate is going to stay at your side and wrap you in a warm embrace. Your soulmate is going to help you fight your anxieties and your worries. Your soulmate is going to help you face your insecurities. Your soulmate is going to love you in spite of all the vulnerability. Your soulmate is going to love you – no questions asked.
